Sunset Sail To Fight Cancer Set For Saturday In Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The 14th annual Sunset Sail on the Bridgeport /Port Jefferson Ferry will take place on Saturday, Sept. 10, from 3:30 to 7 p.m.

This three and a half hour cruise takes passengers for a leisurely ride along the Connecticut shoreline and out in the open waters of Long Island Sound. All proceeds benefit the SWIM Across the Sound Breast Cancer Programs, such as mobile mammography screenings, breast cancer support groups and financial assistance to breast cancer patients and their families.
